our products guide you to a skincare routine that is uncomplicated and effective. These lines also represent our commitment to transparency – what you see is what you get. Our formulations are straightforward and contain only the finest natural ingredients, with no hidden or harmful additives.

The Point: Focused simplicity

At the heart of our design is a single dot that embodies the idea of focused simplicity. This dot is a visual anchor that reminds us that less is more.
It represents the purity of our ingredients and the clarity of our purpose.
In a world cluttered with excess, the dot underscores the importance of
focusing on what really matters – quality, sustainable skincare.

Harmony of the Elements

Together, the lines and dots create a harmonious balance that reflects the minimalist lifestyle of our target audience. The simplicity of the design not
only enhances the aesthetic appeal, but also aligns with our sustainable

Our story

Althea's story is one of commitment and passion. Inspired by the goddess Althea, our journey began with a vision to redefine skincare by prioritizing what truly matters - clean ingredients and mindful practices. Driven by a deep respect for nature and a love of minimalism, our founders set out to create a brand that stands as a testament to the beauty of simplicity. We embarked on this journey by partnering with experts in skincare and sustainability to ensure that every step of our manufacturing process aligns with our values. From initial concept to final product, we meticulously oversee every detail to deliver skincare you can trust and love.

RESEARCH

The main focus of the research was to find out what the target group needs from a skincare brand and what it should stand for. The search for design inspiration was also an important part of the research and is part of the preparatory work.

IN RETROSPECT

01 Understand your audience!

As this brand was developed specifically for the so-called "clean girls", it was essential to work closely with the target group during the development process. My learning is best expressed in this quote from an unknown author: "The bait should taste good to the angler, not to the fish".

02 Less is more.

Especially when it came to designing the brand, I noticed that this target group is particularly interested in working as cleanly and minimalistically as possible. The slogan "less is more" came up very often. It was important to have a constant exchange with the target group, also in terms of design and concept. As part of this concept, I also delved deeply into the area of clean branding and learned that a good brand uses specific design features to stand out from the market.
